Cryogenic and deep-freeze labels (−80 °C to liquid nitrogen)

Labels to identify laboratory sample tubes, boxes and bags in deep freezing. Two reference levels are used, −80 °C and −196 °C (liquid nitrogen in liquid or vapour phase, and dry ice), according to the datasheet of the proposed material. They are thermal-transfer printed and can carry pre-printed 1D/2D codes and colour-coding.
Use: identification of laboratory samples, not a medical product. They are made to order, with the customer's tube type, surface and numbering.

Applications
- Sample banks (biobanks).
- Research laboratories and universities.
- Logistics cold chain (non-medical use).
- Brands and distributors of laboratory consumables.
Two reference levels
The two reference levels are −80 °C (deep freeze) and −196 °C (liquid nitrogen, in liquid or vapour phase, and dry ice). The datasheet of the proposed material states which level each combination of face and adhesive corresponds to.
Numbering and codes can come pre-printed or be printed in your laboratory with a thermal-transfer printer.
State in the enquiry which of the two levels you need and how the samples will be stored.

Documentation available on request
The production partner provides datasheets and test reports on request. Samples or trials: conditions are stated in the offer. Regulatory references usually consulted: REACH and Regulation (EU) 2025/40 (PPWR). Only the name and number of each rule are cited; applying them and the legal responsibility rest with the customer. Use: identification of laboratory samples, not a medical product.
Frequently asked questions
Which labels can be used in −80 °C freezers?
These cryogenic and deep-freeze labels. The reference levels are −80 °C and −196 °C (liquid nitrogen); the right level is confirmed against the datasheet of the proposed material.
Can they be applied to wet or frosted surfaces?
Adhesive systems exist that are intended for wet and cold surfaces. This is specified for the tube and the application process, which you tell us.
Can codes and colours be pre-printed?
Yes. 1D/2D barcodes, serialized numbering and colour-coding are pre-printed, with the numbering rule you define.
Are they medical products?
No. They are labels for identifying laboratory samples, not a medical product.
Do you provide cold-test records?
The production partner provides datasheets and test reports on request. A specific cold-test record is not promised: if you need one, say so in the enquiry and the offer will confirm whether it can be obtained.
Can I print the labels in my laboratory?
Yes, with a thermal-transfer printer. Tell us the printer model so we can propose a compatible material.
