On-metal UHF RFID tags: flexible and rigid

On-metal UHF tags made to the asset: antenna, thickness, fixing (adhesive, screw or rivet) and heat resistance are defined by the shape of the part and the type of metal. They work on UHF EPC Gen2 (ISO/IEC 18000-63), in the European 865–868 MHz band.

These are electronic products with a chip and an antenna; see the regulatory notice below. Business orders only.

Frequently asked questions

What is an on-metal RFID tag?

A UHF tag whose antenna is isolated from the metal, so it can be read when attached to a metal asset. It is designed for the shape of the part and the type of metal.

What read range does it have?

We do not publish figures: catalogue values are theoretical. We propose a trial with samples on your metal, at your distance and with your reader before the order.

Can you encode EPC and number the tags?

Yes. You provide the EPC encoding rule and the serial file is delivered; the numbering can also be printed on the tag.

When should I not use it?

The production partner provides datasheets and test reports on request. Samples or trials: conditions are stated in the offer.

What do you need to quote it?

Type of metal and curvature of the surface.; Fixing method and available gap.; Reader model and desired read range..

What documentation is available?

The production partner provides datasheets and test reports on request.

Can you ship to my country?

The route is confirmed in the offer: the order may ship from Spain or directly from the production partner. Customs formalities, VAT and duties depend on the destination and are stated in the offer.
